Cassie, San Francisco, CA: FOUND in October 2006 - Missing Since June 2006:
Escaped from loose screen in pet sitter's home. "I have thought of you as well, and have recommended your services to others.  Yes, we found Cassie, after 38 long days and nights... We walked the neighborhood again, but no sightings.  We decided to lay the three traps we had, the first and second in the pathway in the neighborhood she followed according to your Search Dogs.  The third one in the bushes on the pathway down from a nature trail about 1 block away from there. Believe it or not, Cassie had been caught in that 3rd trap. She lost 30% of her body weight, had an eye injury that has required surgery, but is back.... and happy to be.... better than before." JuneCat17@aol.com
Teddy, Pasadena, CA: Walk-up Find by Rainbow! - Missing For 4 Days:
Teddy and Kim reunited same day of search! Rainbow worked out of the yard, in the alley, across the street and "alerted" under a car. "I can't thank you guys enough on finding my little Teddy boy. Teddy got out, and that night was the most horrible experience I ever felt in my entire life. When Annalisa and Landa headed out on the search I sat in my apartment with the most uneasiness in my stomach, but tried so hard to be hopeful. Finally 2 hours later, I got a call that they found him. My heart started racing and I ran down the street to where they were in front of a house, and there, underneath a car was my little cat. I never felt such an emotion of joy before. After we got him I hugged both Landa and Annalisa, and the wonderful dogs who helped find my lost cat. I know that without Landa, Annalisa, and their dogs, Teddy would still be missing. I recommend their services to anyone! Thank you so much for helping me!" strawberriimilk@gmail.com

Faith, Burbank, CA: FOUND Feb. 11, 2007: Missing 9 Days!
Faith went missing from a vet's office. There were 3 sightings in N. Hollywood three days after Faith went missing; which was 2.6 miles away.  We were brought in on the 7th day with no other leads! Search Dogs did indicate this was Faith's scent and wanted to trail up the exit ramp and onto the 101 freeway. The next exit ramp was .8 miles away. There is a large freeway shoulder and traffic is usually at a crawl on most days. We believe Faith went up the Tujunga ramp and exited the next ramp, as she was found a day and a half later 1.4 miles off the exit. Owners say without our "Search Management" techniques they feel Faith  would not  have been located.  She had no ID as the collar slipped off, no microchip and she was a timid, scared dog.   rachel.true@yahoo.com
James Brown, Clairemont, CA: FOUND SAME DAY pet detectives were called in!  April 5, 2007
Team of Pet Detectives called 3 days after dog went missing from pet sitter's yard. Despite hundreds of flyers, not one lead was phoned in.  Search Dogs worked and indicated NO SCENT going out of the yard. A call was received about the reward money. The caller was concerned about the "detectives." Our Pet Detective trailer was parked in front, so someone from the area had seen us and called this person OR they were in the area on the look-out. He called back and after coaching from us as to how to handle the situation, arrangements were made to meet. We had an "undercover" person stationed nearby in case things went wrong.  A tall ex-con with brass knuckles showed up with the pup.  No information was given as to how he "acquired" the dog.  The reward money was exchanged for the dog after a few tense minutes. James was home! "Thank you both for your time, effort, and great concern over James Brown's retrieval. We appreciate your help. Without it, I feel we NEVER would have gotten him back." jphusky@mac.com
Anikan & Maddox, LA, CA: FOUND
The pups slipped out the owner's gate. The Search Dogs were called in 36 hours later. Ellie Mae was scented on the pug's collar and took off about 6 blocks SE to a fenced in school field. Lilly was scented on the pekinese's collar and took a similar trail, ending at the same field. After investigative work we found out what event took place on the Sunday afternoon the dogs went missing. We spoke with the man who scheduled the event. The man had seen who picked up the dogs from the field that day and called them. These people were reluctant to give back the dogs!   Upon further coaching from us, the owner persuaded them to return the dogs. Owners and dogs were reunited later that afternoon!  They had been transported about 45 minutes out of the area. Owner agreed without Search Dogs they NEVER would have known where to look or whom to call. Since they were transported so far out of the area, it is doubtful they ever would have been recovered!
Magic, LA, CA: FOUND Dec. 20, 2007 - LOST FIVE DAYS!
Magic, a 14 year old indoor only cat, walked out an open door. "When Landa & Annalisa showed up at my  house, I knew that I had made the right choice.  They were professional and ready to get down to work. After their hard day of work at my house, they sat with me and went through many details to help me capture Magic. They provided me with a map of the scent trail, physically walked with me over the trail and told me where to look after sunset. To say that the scent trail was 100% on target is an understatement. Soon after they left, I went into the back yard of the house where the Search Dogs had detected Magic's scent. I walked to the back corner of the yard and shone my flashlight and there she was!!!!! Capturing her, however, proved to be a tricky process. After many phone calls to Landa & Annalisa, sitting in the wet leafy mud for four hours and by following their good advice, I was able to bring Magic home that night! I feel I never would have found Magic if it hadn't for the Search Dogs. Landa & Annalisa are two of the most professional, smart and compassionate business people I know. They are the best and I would recommend them to anyone looking for their lost pet!  uclafan88@aol.com

Chance, San Diego, CA: FOUND Nov. 16, 2010 - LOST 15 DAYS!

"No words could explain how I feel. All the hard work you put in paid off today! A caller in El Cajon saw one of the huge banners and called me and stated they had my dog Chance. After a few quick questions to confirm that it was indeed Chance we meet for a happy reunion. It was a construction worker who spotted Chance crossing the street and took him home. Chance was missing his collar and was very dirty. I can't put into words how grateful I am to pet detectives Landa Coldiron and Annalisa Berns. Your work is so thorough and precise, I never in my wildest imagination would have thought of the things you two suggested. I have never meet a group of professionals that are as deticated as you two. Thank you two so much! Thanks for contacting all the people that were involved in the search. I highly recommend these two lost animal recovery detectives to anyone who has lost a pet. Landa Coldiron and Annalisa Burns are by far the Best!"

Samson, Los Angeles, CA: FOUND with Search Strategy Consultation! 2010
I was horrified to come home to find my little Maltese Samson had run away. I frantically posted flyers in the neighborhood, searched non-stop day and night, missed a week of work and even joined other pet search companies. Nothing worked. I was beginning to lose hope and give up. I decided to give it one last try and came across Pet Search and Rescue on the internet. All I can say now is I couldn't have done it without Annalisa and Landa. They turned my sadness into hope, my fatigue into energy, my brain working in perfect harmony with my heart, and the guidance, tools and support I needed to find my dog. Even in the midst of complete exhaustion from creating posters, driving around, and heartbreak, their words of this advice kept me going, “I know it's hard, and you want to cry and be depressed and stay in bed, but you need to take care of this because timing is so crucial now. After you find Samson, THEN you can stay in bed for 5 days. But, NOT until you find him." A week later, I found Samson 24 miles away! It was the miracle I had been dreaming about since he left. Thankfully, I had two angels here on earth to help me make it come true.

Lulu, San Diego, CA: Walk-up Find by Rainbow! 2011
"I'm so happy I asked for Annalisa's help when I lost my cat! My 5 years old cat, Lulu, ran away from home on a rainy night. I looked for her for hours. I called her name and checked every hiding spot I could think of, but no luck. I contacted Annalisa right away and she rearranged her schedule so that she could come the following day to help me. After she and the dogs took off to search for Lulu, I waited nervously at home, hoping for them to find Lulu. And they did!! Within an hour, Search K9 Rainbow found Lulu underneath a storage container, where I would never have looked. Lulu would have been lost her forever without their help. Lulu came home safely, and now is back to her care-free life. Thanks so much, Annalisa and Pet Search and Rescue! For your dedication and determination to help us to locate our missing family! Thanks again for the help, Fay Qingfei Jiang"
